The manor later became the parish of CHURCH PREEN which lies north of Wenlock Edge and south-east of Shrewsbury. In early centuries, the PREEN family was found mainly in Shropshire and Gloucestershire but they later spread all over the world. A One-name study has been set up which organises Annual Reunions and publishes a newsletter and books on the history of this family.
